Platinum daisy ring with tanzanite (1.70ct) and diamonds (1.28ctw), 90s/2000s

If I had to think of just one adjective to describe this ring, I would immediately say "REGAL"... It is in fact a jewel that I would have no trouble seeing on the hand of a queen or a princess, and we have actually seen a variation of it on the hands of two famous princesses, first Lady Diana and then Kate Middleton: it is in fact a variation of the daisy jewels, in this one revisited with elements of ancient inspiration, a more complex structure, as well as a taste that is nothing short of refined and elegant. 

Its characteristic shape is very classic, a delicate oval flower of small dimensions, making it the perfect choice for those who want a very beautiful jewel that can also be worn comfortably all day. 
No expense was spared in its decoration, resulting in some truly spectacular stones! A tanzanite, one of the most captivating gems in existence, was chosen to fill the centerpiece for several reasons: first, its unique and unparalleled color, combining shades of blue and purple; second, it is not only one of the most recently discovered stones, but also one of the rarest, found only in a tiny part of the world. The tanzanite decorating this ring is oval-cut and weighs 1.70 ct. 
All around, as is the rule with daisy-shaped jewelry, we find a border of brilliant-cut diamonds, extremely bright and dazzling; they are set in a very particular way, with their outer edge just barely protruding from the edge of the bezel, making them appear to be suspended between the tanzanite and the outside, held in place only by the prongs. 
The brilliance of the diamonds does not stop there, however, as there is also a row of three diamonds on the two shoulders, this time princess cut and inserted flush with the setting as well as without spaces between them. 
This way the diamonds reach a total of 1.28ct.
