Vintage 8K yellow gold daisy ring with garnet and diamonds, 70s/80s

To create this wonderful vintage ring, dating back to the 70s/80s, a series of styles, shapes and workmanship were chosen which, combined and fused together, gave life to an absolutely dream jewel. 
It features a more distinctive and much less classic daisy design: at the center is an oval-cut garnet, a dark red that reveals a paler red as it deepens. It's held in place by four prongs that push it slightly outward, surrounded by a ring of diamonds, set in a ribbon-like setting. The sides feature open shoulders, also illuminated by more diamonds.
The frame is entirely made of 8K gold, with the outer rear edge entirely decorated with openwork work.
