Vintage platinum ballerina ring with fancy yellow diamond (0.79ct) and diamonds (0.53ctw), 90s

What you see is a very special ring, which will make many hearts beat wildly and which will make you fall so madly in love at first sight that until it is yours it will be a real obsession! 
This is a ballerina ring, a very evocative name that indicates a genre that is not so common among rings, but which embodies beauty and elegance.
Looking at it more technically, its basis is that of a daisy ring, which is given an extra touch thanks to the presence of very specific diamond cuts: in ballerina rings, in fact, we usually find a larger central stone (like in daisies) and an outline of diamonds of different cuts, usually a combination of brilliant cuts and baguette/tapered cuts, the latter essential as they are perfect for simulating the look of a skirt in motion. 

In this case, at the center, we find a diamond that is impossible to miss, being a natural fancy yellow diamond, with a defined and full yellow hue. Furthermore, it is a pear cut, a very elegant cut, and weighs a full 0.79ct, a carat weight that obviously contributes to its presence and visibility. 
The diamonds surrounding it are therefore of two different cuts, brilliant and tapered: the former have been distributed on two different rows, one more internal and one more external, while the tapered-cut ones have been positioned on the upper arch of the ring, thus interrupting the row of brilliants; together they total an estimated 0.53ct.

The end result is a breathtaking jewel, with a contrast of colors that creates an effect on the wearer and on those who look at it that is nothing short of extraordinary.
