Vintage 18K yellow gold solitaire with green tourmaline (approx. 3ct), 60s/70s
Today I also want to offer you a different solitaire from the usual, from which it is very easy to be fascinated.
In fact, in this stupendous vintage solitaire we find a tourmaline as the central stone, here in its green colour, mainly dark but with some lighter touches, scattered here and there; it is round cut and estimated at approx. 3ct.
I greatly appreciate the choice that was made to use four claws which are quite thick but which allow to leave more free space for the stone, which otherwise would have been covered on several sides by several claws (necessary to support such an important stone); moreover, the way they have been folded is very particular, which also aesthetically creates a very interesting and beautiful design, to be observed and taken into account.
It is a truly unique solitaire, which I advise you to observe from all possible angles, and which once worn you will not be able to stop looking at.
The frame is in 18K yellow gold.
