Vintage 18K Yellow Gold Lapis Lazuli Earrings, 70s

These vintage earrings have been crafted using a long hook fastening, which allows them to be quite long, to the end of which a decorative element has been attached.
The latter is formed by a yellow gold disc, in the center of which a lapis lazuli sphere rotates, positioned on two small needles and thus allowing it to move; this feature, together with the colors of the lapis, makes it look like the Earth spinning on its axis and making them particularly fascinating.
