Vintage brooch / pendant with cameo.
This double jewel (brooch and pendant) from the 50s is decorated with a beautiful cameo on a shell, which covers the entire surface.
The design that was created represents what is a hunting scene: in fact we find two riders who, riding their dexters, are in the middle of a hunting trip, accompanied by four dogs.
The cameos are always full of details, and here too we find many: the horses galloping, fully taken up by the work they are doing; the riders fully dressed on their saddles; the dogs also engaged in running and concentrating on the goal; the tufts of grass and the air that moves around the scene, represented with light shades of white.
As mentioned it is a double jewel, being that it can be used both as a brooch and as a pendant (the latter thanks to a small hook).
The setting is entirely in gold and more precisely in 18K gold.
