Vintage 14K gold ring with brilliant cut diamonds (1ctw approx.), 70s

If you remember this ring I had made you glimpse it (very quickly) in a reel of a few days ago; then, taken from drops, new arrivals and more, I left it behind.
How is it possible that this thing happened I do not know: have you seen it? 😱 
For sure this is a ring that is really hard to forget! 

Made in the 70s, it has a truly unique shape, given by the highly worked 14K gold setting.

Starting from the base of the ring, an element to be highlighted immediately concerns the way in which the stem divides itself in the center: here, in fact, the two shoulders are hoped for with a clear movement, since they find themselves in opposite directions; moreover they have been decorated with grooves, and the whole makes the two elements look almost like wings or two waves.
At the center we have the most striking decorative element, a kind of elongated flower and entirely covered with diamonds: these are all brilliant cut and for an estimated total of 1ct approx.
The setting of this part is entirely in 14K white gold, and the jaws that hold the stones are really very high, thus creating a structure that detaches a lot from its base.
