Vintage 18K gold sapphire and diamond earrings, 60s/70s

These earrings have been made with a shape that is very reminiscent of folded ribbons, so much so that it seems really possible to be able to roll them out and fold them into many other different shapes. 
In this case each earring looks like a single piece of ribbon that is stretched on one end, while on the other it is folded and rolled up, in such a way as to give even more movement and to create an additional decorative element. 
The first end is decorated with round cut sapphires, while the other end with huit-huit cut diamonds. 
The whole frame is in 18K yellow gold.
