Vintage 18K gold ring with amethyst, 60s
This vintage ring, dating from the 60s, has been crafted with a combination of shapes that make it impossible not to love and notice.
The central stone that decorates it is an amethyst, one of the most beautiful I've ever seen, thanks to the deep purple that colors it, but which at the same time maintains a particular transparency that gives it even more charm.
The amethyst is oval cut and is particularly narrow and elongated, a feature that allows it to come out of the setting and thus decorate the finger of the wearer in a unique way.
The stone is also held by eight claws, four on each side, which are quite large and wanted to be seen, becoming part of the decoration.
On the sides we find the two shoulders, which have been made with a rounded shape, thus adding a further decorative element.
The whole frame is in 18K yellow gold.
