RIGID BORBONICO BRACELET IN 18K GOLD WITH BLUE GLASS PASTES, SECOND HALF OF THE 800s

Add to Wishlist
This rigid bracelet dates back to the Bourbon period, and more precisely to the second half of the 800th century.
Entirely made of 18K yellow gold, the front is entirely decorated with a pattern applied on the surface that is very reminiscent of a belt: in fact we have two buckles through which a belt passes, modeled with soft shapes that create a realistic illusion of movement.
The belt is decorated in the center by a row of four glass pastes of a very intense blue, while the gold surface is covered by a whole series of engravings that give life to floral designs; the joints between the two circular sections of the bracelet are also decorated with naturalistic engravings.
The bracelet closes through a tab that is inserted into the slot of the upper circle, and is further secured by a chain that joins the two parts.
