Vintage 14K Gold Diamond (approx. 0.12ctw) Snake Ring, 70s
This ring was made with the clear shape of one of the most used animals in the world of jewelry, namely that of a snake; animal chosen both for its charm and its elegance, but also because it is the one that best suits to wrap around the finger (or neck, or wrist…).
What you see is in fact a real snake, made entirely of 14K yellow gold: the decidedly pointed head is entirely decorated with huit-huit cut diamonds, for an estimated total of approx. 0.12ct.
The whole body obviously starts from here, forming the stem of the ring, finally arriving at the tail, which is also very pointed and which we find in the frontal part and which directly touches the head of the snake.
The result is a ring that is literally twisted around the finger, fine and elegant.
