If you love jewelry, if you love rings, unique pieces and above all if you love vintage, this is the perfect ring for you. 
It belongs to one of the genres, in my opinion, most extraordinary and exceptional that exist, capable of evoking elegance and refinement like nothing else; and I am talking about the “ballerina” genre. 
This type of ring was born around the 60s, as a variant of the daisy ring, from which it differs thanks to a specific and absolutely essential characteristic, that is the presence of baguette or tapered cut diamonds: they are in fact essential to recreate the image, the appearance of a tutu in motion or seen from above (hence the very particular and evocative name). 
In the example I am proposing to you today we find a drop-shaped structure, with a wider end and a narrower, pointed one.
At the centre of the ring a stunning ruby ​​of the same shape has been placed, therefore drop cut and estimated to be 0.35ct approx.; it is held by three claws that push it quite high, thus highlighting it well. 
The border that surrounds it is double, with a row of brilliant-cut diamonds that delimits the inner edge; on the outside we find a mix of both brilliant-cut and baguette-cut diamonds, with a clear prevalence of the latter, which illuminate the two upper and lower ends in a real fan. 
Moving our gaze to the sides, reaching the stem, we will discover that the two shoulders are also decorated with a row of four brilliant-cut diamonds, these directly set inside them, thus creating a rather low profile.
The diamonds total a whopping 1ct approx.
The frame is entirely in 18K yellow gold.
