Vintage 9K yellow gold band ring with old European cut diamond (0.10ct approx.), 70s

This ring has been crafted with a perfect combination of versatility and comfort, wearability and sophistication, making it the ideal ring from any point of view. 
To create it, a band setting was chosen, characterized by a very large and wide structure that, once you have it on your finger, will completely cover the entire base. This type of ring is not only perfect to be worn on both a male and female hand, but also to obtain a jewel, as I was saying, wearable but effective.  
Our ring features a shank entirely in 9K yellow gold, which starts very wide on the back, expanding more and more as it reaches the center; here it opens and divides completely in two, so as to touch and support the central decoration, a square in 9K white gold whose corners have been highlighted; in its center a wonderful diamond has been set, bright and brilliant, of old European cut and estimated at approximately 0.10ct. 
Inside the stem we find an engraving: two letters, an “I” and an “A”, probably the initials of two names and next to them a date (26.3.74).
