Vintage 18K yellow gold ring with topaz (approx. 0.40ct) and brilliant cut diamonds (approx. 0.20ctw), 60s/70s

The colored stone that decorates this ring, a topaz, despite being only one, is undoubtedly one of the absolute protagonists of this ring, also decorated with diamonds, but which I would consider here almost marginal compared not only to the topaz but also to the setting.
It was in fact built as if it were an architectural work, studied in detail and full of many details that make it incredible.
First of all it must be said that we are dealing with a variant of the daisies, in which, however, the shape is not the classic one but rather defined by lines between the squared and the curved; but we also have a band ring, thanks to a stem that remains very wide along its entire circumference and which makes it very comfortable to wear. 
As I said at the beginning, the star blue stone here is an oval-cut topaz, estimated at approx. 0.40ct. and of an incredible blue-azure; its leading role is also underlined by the fact that it is held by a four-prong bezel, which raises it significantly above the base, highlighting it. 
The border is made of brilliant cut diamonds, for an estimated total of approx. 0.20ct. and which perfectly fill the four sides, while two others (one on each side) decorate the shoulders, inserted in triangular settings.
