Antique 18K gold ring with topaz, 40s
This antique ring is decorated with a topaz with a truly unique and particular cut: it is a cut with eight points, which are interspersed with longer and rounded sides.
The setting is perfectly made along the lines of the cut of the stone, or in such a way that on each corner there is either the tip of the topaz or that of the setting; the whole is further embellished by a worked outer edge.
The play of colors that are created between the blue topaz and the gold of the frame, and the games of movement that the cut of the stone and the processing of the frame create, make this ring truly unique.
The ring is entirely in 18K gold and dates back to the 40s.
