Antique ring in 18K gold and silver with sapphires and diamonds, 40s
This beautiful antique ring dates back to the 40s, and is decorated with a rather important central section: the head of the ring makes up most of the jewel, clearly becoming the protagonist.
This is decorated with two outer rows of old-cut diamonds, each made up of seven diamonds, and which embrace a central row of oval-cut sapphires.
The shoulders of the ring are beautifully worked, as is typical for rings from this period.
The setting is entirely in 18K gold, while the part surrounding the diamonds is in silver.
