Antique platinum diamond ring (approx. 0.30ctw), 30s / 40s

I think this is one of the most peculiar and strange (in a very good sense) links that have ever happened to me.
What makes it so special is undoubtedly the frame, so worked and particular: entirely in platinum, it presents all these elements of various geometric shapes, which stand out here and there along the entire surface; the result is that wherever you look you will find something that catches the eye.
We could define it a little as a daisy ring, due to the arrangement of the stones: in the center we find a larger and brilliant-cut diamond, surrounded by six other smaller and huit-huit-cut diamonds, also interspersed with platinum petals.
Finally, the back of the ring is truly noteworthy: delicate and elegant, it looks like it was crocheted!
The ring dates back to the 30s / 40s and the result is really crazy!

Given the age and the fact that they are handcrafted (and not mass-produced) jewels, our antique and vintage jewels are often not perfect and may show normal signs of surface wear and / or small imperfections, possibly present both on the parts in gold than on stones.
But this is exactly what makes each piece special and unique!
