What could we say about this ring? It is so beautiful that just looking at it takes the words out of your mouth ...
Today I show you this wonderful example of an Art Nouveau ring, made in the 20s.
Wonderful are the shape, the rounded frame, the decorations, the materials, the way it rests on the finger; basically ... EVERYTHING!
The Art Nouveau here is definitely felt: the ring is crossed by sinuous and soft lines, as well as by a continuous openwork that decorates the front part; the latter gave life to extremely well done, precise and realistic floral and naturalistic designs.
The gaze is transported to the center, where we find an old cut diamond of approx. 0.50ct.
Wonderful is the strong contrast between the silver of the front and the yellow of the 14K gold of the stem.
If you look closely, we also find a thin gold thread in the edges that run all the way around the outside of the ring!
This is a ring that, in addition to existing to be worn, must be held in the hand to admire and observe it, and thus capture every single detail.
It will surely take a while to get to know him thoroughly!
