Antique 10K gold men's ring with engraved hematite and diamonds, 40s
This elegant men's ring is decorated with the profile of a Roman soldier, engraved on hematite and perfectly executed. It is probably a general, since the helmet is surmounted by a laurel wreath, which was given only to emeritus soldiers, that is, to those who had triumphed in war. On both sides of the stone we find two huit-huit cut diamonds, inserted in a triangular section. The setting of the ring is quite important and also worked, and is entirely in 10K gold. The ring is ancient and dates back to the 40s.
