18K gold ring with diamonds (0.25ctw approx.) And rubies, 40s
This ring, dating back to the 40s, was created with a very interesting shape. The jewel is a beautiful band ring, with a particularly concave front part which houses the main decoration inside.
On the latter we find three rows of precious stones, placed on a yellow gold setting in the shape of a "bridge" and slightly protruding.
The three rows of stones are arranged as follows: in the center we have a row of natural carré-cut rubies, held by a fairly thick yellow gold frame, and flanked above and below by a row of brilliant-cut diamonds, for an estimated total of 0.25ct approx.
The whole ring is in 18K yellow gold.
