18K white gold ring with diamonds (1.40ctw)

This enchanting ring was made with the use of recovered materials: the setting, with its surrounding diamonds, is in fact vintage, dating back to the 60s / 70s, while the central diamond is a diamond found loose and used to complete the decoration of the jewel.
The structure of this ring is really particular: seen from above, in fact, it would seem to be organized on a single plane but, in reality, the ring is very high.
We thus have three contour circles, all on three levels of different heights and decorated with a multitude of huit-huit cut diamonds; these three circles embrace a central brilliant cut diamond, which is held by rather high prongs. The diamonds are for a total of almost one and a half carats, and more precisely of 1.40ct (!!!).
The frame is made entirely of 18K white gold.
