Vintage 14K gold ring with ruby and diamonds, 60s
This vintage ring can be considered a bit like a variant of the classic daisy rings: even in this case we have in fact a central stone, surrounded by a crown of others, the latter however positioned and scattered mainly on the two sides of the main stone, rather than in a more or less precise and homogeneous outline.
In this ring we therefore find a central synthetic ruby, surrounded by a series of brilliant cut diamonds; the ruby is held by four white gold jaws but with a yellow gold tip, while the diamonds are held by white gold jaws, to make them stand out even more.
The setting is therefore in both yellow and white 14K gold, and the ring dates back to the 60s.
