Bourbon pendant in 9K gold with garnet, second half of the 800th century
This antique 9K gold pendant dates back to the Bourbon period, and more precisely to the second half of the 800th century.
It was in fact modeled with the typical shapes of the period, with soft and intertwined motifs and movements, which give life to geometric and naturalistic designs.
In this case we have a pendant that develops in length, with an outer frame that is narrower at the top and more rounded in the middle and at the end; enclosed in this setting we find a gold decoration, adorned with a central garnet, of a dark red; last decorative element of the pendant, are the three final applications that we find hanging and that give further movement to the jewel.
