Antique 12K gold earrings with rosette cut diamonds, early 900s
Antique gold and silver earrings with diamonds.
These delightful daisy earrings are decorated with a series of rosette-cut diamonds: in the center we have a larger diamond, surrounded by eight other slightly smaller ones; another rosette decorates the clasp (as is typical for this type of earrings).
All ten diamonds are all located within a setting with a slightly raised edge, creating a lively and soft effect, like that of a real flower.
The closure is a latch and, an interesting element, is the fact that this is not fixed to the earring but is movable, giving further movement to the earrings.
The setting is in both 12K gold and silver, and the earrings date back to the early decades of the twentieth century.
