Antique 18K gold earrings with sapphires and diamond rosettes, 40s
This Sunday we want to offer you an incredible pair of antique earrings, extremely refined and elegant: each one is decorated with a wonderful oval-cut sapphire, surrounded by a crown of fourteen diamond rosettes, placed inside a setting that recalls the petals of a flower; a fifteenth and final rosette decorates the leverback closure of these earrings.
Of note are the change in color, from dark blue to light blue, and the different shades that are created on sapphires based on the amount of light that hits these precious stones.
Coming from the 40s, they are entirely modeled in 18K gold.
