Vintage 18K gold earrings with purple sapphires, 50s
These simple but elegant round shaped earrings are each decorated with a wonderful purple sapphire; this is inserted inside a beautiful setting that makes the stone stand out particularly, thanks to the small claws that hold the stone firmly and to the small rope that surrounds it. The frame is made entirely of 18K gold and the earrings date back to the 50s.
The earrings are equipped with a clip closure, thus allowing them to be worn even by those who do not have pierced ears.
Last detail to note is the color difference of these sapphires based on the amount of light to which they are exposed.
(If they remind you of anything, these earrings were together with the beaded necklace published a few days ago; and in fact the necklace was decorated with the same patches that make up these earrings).
