Some jewels exist not only to be wonderful accessories to wear and to give that extra touch to our look, but also to be held in the hand, admired and studied, to be able to grasp their beauty and the incredible attention to detail, making us daydream.
The pendant I propose to you today undoubtedly belongs to this category: made in the early 900s (most likely within the first decade), it is characterized by a circular shape and very balanced dimensions, being neither too big nor too small; all this, combined with the presence of a certain design and certain decorative elements, make it a very wearable and versatile jewel that will leave its mark without difficulty.
Its setting is entirely in 18K yellow gold, and supports a final design that seems to be that of a plant that, growing over time, has stretched out its branches and given life to a series of flowers and petals, made entirely of 18K yellow gold and old European cut diamonds: the entire outer edge is thus made of leaves and petals alternating with single diamonds, with a long uninterrupted series of the latter positioned at the base and in an increasing size; in the center, inside this circle, we find a double clover, one composed of three leaves and one of three petals, all illuminated by other diamonds.
These brilliant and magical stones thus reach a total of approximately 1ct!
An interesting detail, which not only makes us understand the care put into the creation of the jewel but also its age, is the fact that it is characterized by a practically continuous asymmetry, whether on the sides, top, bottom or in the center, without however being too strong or disturbing, created with extreme mastery.
