Art Nouveau butterfly brooch in 18K gold and silver with rosettes, rubies, emeralds and sapphire
Tonight we offer you a very particular Art Nouveau brooch, dating back to the early years of the twentieth century and modeled in 18K gold and silver.
Clearly made in the shape of a butterfly, this brooch is entirely covered with precious stones: the wings are completely studded with diamond rosettes, and the upper ones are further decorated with another rosette and a ruby, while the lower ones with an emerald ; the body is instead embellished with a teardrop sapphire and a square emerald.
Almost impressively realistic, the legs of the insect and the head, whose eyes are two emeralds.
