This wonderful butterfly-shaped brooch is a vintage brooch, dating back to the 50s, and is entirely decorated with various precious stones, which cover the entire surface.
In the center, the actual body is made of three oval cut rubies; the wings are decorated with various and different stones, to recreate the illusion of a colorful butterfly: the outer edge is studded with old-cut diamonds, while the upper part has a dark blue teardrop-cut sapphire, and the lower a ruby; finally the antennas are each decorated with another diamond rosette.
The butterfly is in 18K gold and silver, and its workmanship and the skill with which it was made make it a unique piece, similar to a real butterfly that is flying.
