Vintage Toi et Moi in 9K yellow gold with diamonds (approx. 0.10ctw), 50s

Toi et Moi rings are generally characterized by the presence of two main stones, positioned close to each other, often to the point of touching, to symbolize the meeting and union of two people who love each other.
The history of Toi et Moi rings began already at the end of the 700th century, but it was between the 10s and the 20s that this model had a great surge in popularity, very similar to what they are experiencing today, especially thanks to the engagement rings of major celebrities. 

This ring was made in the 50s, and stands out for its play of sweet and refined lines, combined with the presence of elements that refer to the natural world: in the centre, to represent the concept of "You" and "I", we find two diamonds, which stand out particularly thanks to the two settings that hold them, modeled in the shape of two delightful flowers; and obviously in a flower the stem with its petals cannot be missing, represented here by the two shoulders, which support and embrace each of the two flowers in a delicate and elegant movement; they are also decorated with a diamond each.
The central diamonds are brilliant cut, while the lateral ones are huit-huit cut and are all for an estimated total of approx. 0.10ct, and the setting is entirely in 9K gold, with the majority in yellow gold and some points in presence of diamonds in white gold.
