Vintage 9K yellow gold ring with heart-cut synthetic blue spinel (approx. 0.50ct) and diamonds (approx. 0.03ctw), 80s/90s

This vintage ring, made between the 80s and 90s, is a sweet and romantic jewel, which hides a strong symbolic and poetic meaning.
Its decoration, not at all banal and indeed very elaborate, recalls the concept of the trilogy in every way: although we find more than three stones, it is first and foremost made up of three main elements, namely a central stone and a group of three diamonds on each side ; furthermore, if taken together, we will obtain the three protagonists of the trilogy, each representing the three moments of a person's life, past, present and future. 
But looking at the stones in more detail we will also discover that the central one is a stunning synthetic blue heart-cut spinel, which adds a further touch of romance. The diamonds are instead huit-huit cut, and are positioned diagonally to the heart, creating a unique continuity with it. 
The setting is entirely in 9K gold, with the diamonds held in white gold settings and the rest in yellow gold.
