Victorian belt-shaped ring with 9K yellow gold buckle, 1855-1856

This stunning antique ring was fashioned into the clear shape of a buckled belt; a shape which, although apparently purely decorative, actually hides a strong symbolic meaning. 
This type of ring was born in the Victorian era, as a symbol of a binding love that unites two people, the giver and the wearer, and this tradition is still maintained today. The belt and buckle are the perfect representation to create the image of perfect harmony between two people who love each other, united by an eternal and binding feeling, a symbol of indissoluble loyalty and lasting memory. 

The ring that I propose to you today is a real Victorian piece made in England in the mid-800th century, and more precisely between the years 1855 and 1856, which we know thanks to the hallmarks present inside the band. 
It is entirely in 9K yellow gold and, obviously, on the front it features all the details that characterize a belt with buckle, realistically and perfectly reproduced.
