Pair of vintage pendants in the shape of double axes in 14K gold, 80s

Each of the pendants that make up this pair has been modeled in the shape of a double ax or lábrys, from the original Greek term with which these two-bladed axes were called. 
The use of this type of weapon dates back to the Middle Bronze Age, and they were the symbol of Minoan power (a culture that arose on the island of Crete). 

Our two miniature axes date back to the 80s, and have been made with great care and attention to detail, from the two blades, perfectly curved, to the handle, at the base of which a sort of rope has been wrapped, perhaps to mimic the handle. 
They are also made entirely of 14K yellow gold.

But this is exactly what makes each piece special and unique!
