This wonderful necklace is made up of two elements, a 14K white gold chain and a pendant, the absolute protagonist of this jewel.
It was made following a very specific taste and style that was in vogue between the second half and the end of the 800th century, and especially in England and America (in fact, there are many finance rings made just like this pendant).
It certainly immediately catches the eye due to its size, due to the incredible amethyst that occupies most of the space, being estimated at around 14ct; but it also does so for all the rest of the decoration, and above all for the element placed in the center, a silver insert that was literally attached to the purple stone through a hole and through a connection that passes through it.
This element has the shape of a flower, and more precisely a Chinese hibiscus (which in English is also called "Rose of Sharon") and is decorated with a white bead.
The amethyst, a darker purple on the sides and lighter in the center, is supported by a silver frame, the thin edge of which is far from the center and is decorated with a series of settings with white beads that repeat at intervals regular, with the four central points even more elegant.

The choice to use the Chinese hibiscus, or rose of Sharon, derives from the fact that it is a resistant and long-flowering flower, thus bringing the association of perseverance and desire between two people in love.

The pendant and the chain can be separated, so that you can wear the chain alone but above all the pendant also combined with another chain. 
They are also from two different eras, the chain from the 70s and the pendant from the 40s.
