Vintage 9K yellow gold daisy ring with garnets, 1979

This delightful ring, dating back to the late 70s, was made in the daisy shape, one of the most loved and sought after shapes that we can find in all types of jewelery and for many centuries.
In this vintage example the flower is very delicate and simple, entirely decorated with round-cut garnets colored in various shades of red: the central garnet, which as required by this model is larger, is a darker red, while those of contour, smaller, have lighter shades; each garnet is held by claws, which clearly highlight its shapes and colors. 
The setting is entirely in 9K yellow gold, with the two shoulders that divide in two and thus broaden the view of the ring, while the shank is smooth.
