Vintage 14K White Gold Triplet Opal & Brilliant Cut Diamonds (approx. 0.36ctw) Daisy Ring, 60s/70s

The more I look at this ring, the more the illusion of looking at a galaxy or a glimpse of it increases, taking me to a completely different and fantastic world. 
This incredible ring has been crafted with the much loved daisy shape, a shape that is based on a very precise pattern and organization, i.e. a larger central stone and an outer outline of smaller stones. 
The first is a triplet opal, that is, a rather thin opal to which a black base has been added, to bring out the colors, and above a transparent dome.
In this case, the choice of an opal of this type certainly paid off, since we find ourselves with a stone with a rather dark background, a very intense midnight blue, crossed everywhere by a series of multicolored shades, ranging from light pink to dark pink, light blue to blue, green to yellow and orange; the thousands of colors seem like liquid or gaseous trails that manage to move inside it, and the game that is created is truly breathtaking. 
The triplet opal is surrounded by a round of diamonds, which perfectly highlight its oval shape; they are all brilliant cut and for an estimated total of approx. 0.36ct. 
The frame, very classic and elegant, is entirely in 14K white gold.
