Vintage 18K white gold sapphire (approx. 0.50ct) and diamonds (approx. 0.05ctw) daisy ring, 60s

This ring was made with the classic shape of daisy rings, but with a process that I would define as very clever and intelligent. 
The outline, made up of ten delightful petals, was in fact decorated with huit-huit cut diamonds, for an estimated total of approx. 0.05ct, which, however, seem much larger thanks to the bezels inside which they have been placed : first of all they are entirely in white gold, a fundamental element, and also have a rather thick and engraved edge; the whole thus manages to create the illusion that the surface of the diamonds continues and that they are therefore much larger. 
Once on your finger, trust me that you too will find it difficult to understand where the diamonds begin and where they end! 
In the center we find a beautiful oval cut dark blue sapphire, estimated at approx. 0.50ct. and held by four claws which push it slightly outwards. 
On the back we find an open frame, an extra touch of elegance typical of daisy rings.
The shank on the shoulders is thicker, becoming thinner and thinner, thus arriving at a rear band that is neither too thick nor too thin. 
The whole is in 18K white gold.
