Vintage 18K yellow gold lapis lazuli drop earrings, 70s

Can there be anything more evocative than the union between the intensity and brightness of yellow gold with the darkness of lapis lazuli?
This combination of materials not only creates something magical and mystical, but also allows us to take a journey through time, as these two materials are extremely used in the history of jewellery, starting from the ancient Egyptian, Greek and Roman ones. up to the present day.

This incredible pair of earrings embodies all of this, giving you the opportunity to wear jewels with a refined taste, versatile to the point that they are perfect both for one of the summer evenings that are about to arrive and for a more special and elegant occasion.
These are earrings made in the 70s and characterized by a very strong and powerful vintage taste; they are pendants and are decorated by two sections: the first is completely in yellow gold, modeled with a geometric shape that decorates (and hides) the closure, here with needle and clip, very comfortable and safe; the second is the marvelous drop of lapis lazuli, a hard stone characterized by this enchanting midnight blue dotted here and there with flashes of gold, which really make it look like a starry night sky. The pencil is firmly held by a yellow gold frame, thin and unobtrusive. 
All gold parts are 18K yellow gold.
