Vintage 9K yellow gold cocktail ring with amethyst (approx. 3.80ct), 1999

This vintage ring, dating back to the 90s, was made with a perfect and balanced combination of stone and setting that makes it impossible not to love and notice. 
The central stone that decorates it is an amethyst, one of the most beautiful I've ever seen, thanks to the deep purple that colors it, but which at the same time maintains a particular transparency that gives it even more charm. 
The amethyst is emerald cut, a cut with a refined and elegant aesthetic and characterized by the presence of eight sides, which not only define the stone very well but also allow its colors and shades to emerge. 
The setting in which the amethyst is inserted is so perfect and well made that it almost seems as if the two elements were born together: first of all it is held by four double prongs, one for each corner and which were clearly designed to be seen and to become part of the decoration; the external edges are entirely perforated, with simple but very spectacular geometric elements, and finally the two shoulders are also decorated.
