Vintage 14K gold band ring with blue-violet sapphire and white zircons, 70s

In this important ring we find three main elements, which characterize it and make it the unique piece that it is. 
The first concerns the type of ring: its structure is in fact that typical of band rings, in which we therefore find a very thick and important stem, an integral part of the ring and absolute protagonist. 
The second concerns the main stone that decorates it: a synthetic sapphire, octagonal cut and very special has been set in the center, since in addition to the purple color we see, it hides a deep blue color inside (if seen more in the shade), impossible not to see, and which therefore makes the stone two-tone (although purple remains the predominant and most visible color). 
For the third element we have to look at the band: it was in fact worked as if it were made up of several rectangular links, positioned vertically.
Immediately to the left and right of the sapphire, two links are decorated with white round-cut zircons set inside them; but all the other links are decorated with screws, made by engraving gold, and which obviously immediately bring to mind the iconic Cartier bracelet.  
The whole is in 14K yellow gold.
