Vintage 18K yellow gold cocktail ring with aquamarine (approx. 7.50ct), 60s/70s

A ring so beautiful and full of charm that it seems to have been made with magic, the only way to give life to something so magnificent and absolutely perfect.  
This is an incredible example of a cocktail ring, a type that was created specifically and solely to be flashy and to be noticed, whoever wears them and on any occasion; and to achieve this objective two things must not be missing: a large, very large stone, and a setting worthy of it, and I would say that in this case neither of the two is missing! 
The aquamarine is emerald cut and is estimated at around 7.50ct, colored an intense and full blue, which cannot help but make me think of the most beautiful seas and the purest water. 
The setting, in 18K yellow gold, is so decorated, with gold workmanship, fretwork and other techniques, that I really don't know where to start and I'm not even sure I can describe every detail, so I invite you to scroll through the photos to capture all the elements.
