Vintage 14K Gold Opal & Diamond Ring (approx. 0.14ctw), 70s
In front of this ring I'm sure it will be impossible not to stop and, once seen better, not to fall in love!
In the center we find a beautiful oval cabochon cut opal, inside which a thousand different colors dance, among which we can especially appreciate blue, green, purple and pink.
The stone is held by four claws that curve up to touch part of the opal's surface, ending in rather pointed points.
Above and below the stone it is free, while on both sides it is flanked by shoulders, which have been decorated with two rows of diamonds each; these are brilliant cut and total estimated approx 0.14ct.
It is interesting to note that the two rows are formed one by two diamonds and the other by three, and on each side the order is exchanged (on one side above there are three diamonds and below two, on the other above there are two diamonds and under three).
The whole frame is in 14K yellow gold.
