Vintage 14K yellow gold ring with synthetic ruby (approx. 4.40ct), 70s
The most striking thing about this ring is the fact that all its beauty, all its particularity and all its shape are based on the stone that decorates it, single but definitely sufficient.
It is in fact a synthetic ruby, lit by a truly hypnotic and luminous fuchsia, which gives it an irresistible charm; but in addition to its color, another fundamental element is its marquise cut, a cut full of character and personality, peculiar, unique and beautiful, so particular that it alone manages to shape a ring and give it a complete and perfect shape.
Not least, however, is also the setting, completely in 14K yellow gold, which holds the stone through twelve claws, thus covering the entire edge; they come from a base that is also very elegant, in the shape of a crown, and with a worked stem, which perfectly closes the decoration.
Once worn this ring I assure you that it will be very difficult to take it off!
