Vintage 8K gold ring with amethysts, 70s/80s

This vintage ring is undoubtedly one of those jewels that once put on it will be difficult to take it off! 
It is a classically decorated ring, with a row of five stones; each of these is a round cut amethyst, and they are of different sizes, positioned in a sloping manner: the central one is therefore larger, flanked on each side by two other smaller ones, in turn followed by two others even smaller.
The result is a very pleasant and harmonious scale of stones that stand out for their perfect cut and for the intense purple that colors them. 
The open gallery that is created by the 8K yellow gold setting is also beautiful, which allows you to see the five stones at 360 degrees.
