Vintage snake ring in 18K gold with rubies, 70s
Another jewel that absolutely must not be missing in the collection of anyone who is passionate about vintage jewelry is the snake ring!
By now it has become well known, much loved and above all a true symbol of the jewelry of the 70s.
The example I propose today is a rather small and thin ring, very comfortable to wear and that fits well on any finger you wear it.
Despite its small size, the snake still manages to roll up well and be seen in all its beauty: the head, which pokes out to the right, is beautifully pointed, and the two eyes are two round-cut synthetic rubies (I would say perfect for convey the charm of the reptile); part of the head is decorated with yellow gold dots on a white base, an element that wants to recreate the illusion of scales.
On the left we find the tip of the tail, which obviously also acts as a stem.
The whole ring is in 18K gold.
