Antique Photo Pendant with 9K Yellow Gold Foil on Metal and Diamond, 10s/20s

This delightful photo pendant was made between the 10s and 20s, making it an antique jewel, with more than 100 years behind it.
It is oval in shape and has rather interesting dimensions, meaning that the two internal compartments can accommodate and store not only larger photos but also small objects or flowers. 
Made with 9K yellow gold foil on metal, the center is decorated with an old mine-cut diamond, set directly inside the front part and surrounded by celestial-inspired engravings that make it look like a sparkling star.
Another truly incredible element is the part that has been added at the top, the one to which the ring is connected to pass the chain through: this has in fact been made with a series of very sinuous geometric shapes, with a Renaissance taste that close the pendant with a truly high-level touch.
