Antique 14K yellow gold and silver band with rosette-cut diamonds (approx. 0.70ctw), early 900s

This incredible ring is an antique jewel, made in the very early 900s, which means that it is more than 100 years old and which brings it an absolutely unparalleled charm! 
It is a small ring, here decorated in the most classic way you can think of, that is, with five diamonds, all rosette-cut and of sloping dimensions; they are arranged on a horizontal row that practically reaches halfway up the ring, and this is both due to the setting that holds them and the fact that they are all quite large in size, reaching an estimated total of approximately 0.70ct.
Looking at the setting, it turns out to be very interesting, thanks to the fact that each diamond has been inserted into a highly worked silver setting, with the prongs so arched that seen from the front they almost look like petals; in this way each setting perfectly follows the shape of the stones, thus creating a soft and very delicate contour.
The rest of the ring, the back of the setting and the shank are 14K yellow gold.
