Vintage 18K White Gold Brilliant Cut Diamond (approx. 0.57ctw) Ring, 70s

This vintage ring immediately catches attention for its truly particular shape, in which we find the union between a less classic and important design and a sweeter and more delicate one.
Seen from the front we will find ourselves faced with a ring made along the lines of shuttle rings, therefore with a wider central part and the two more pointed upper and lower ends; in this case we find a series of elements that come out of the classical canons that allow us to define it in all respects as a shuttle ring, but rather I would say a very elegant and almost princely or fairy-like reinterpretation of it! 
But let's see the ring in detail: in the center we find a larger diamond held by a multi-prong setting with a wavy edge, the shape of which is very reminiscent of petals; the external part is also totally illuminated by an outline of diamonds, inserted in settings with a very large surface and well-pronounced contours; the four sides of the ring are interspersed with small white gold spheres.
All this decoration is supported by a highly decorated structure, with the external part of the ring completely perforated and thus embellished with floral and geometric designs. 
The ring is in 18K white gold and the diamonds, all brilliant cut, are for an estimated total of approx. 0.57ct.
