Antique French ring in 18K gold with blue enamels, 40s
Tonight we offer you a very particular antique ring, of French origin and dating back to the 40s, which just looking at it speaks for itself: although it is not decorated with particular precious stones, the processing that characterizes the whole contour of the head, the central decoration, and the vibrant colors that characterize it, make this ring a unique jewel.
Entirely modeled in 18K gold, the head is surrounded by a very intricate and complex workmanship, with also fretwork elements, which creates an outline of geometric and floral designs.
In the center, a gold oval covered with blue enamels, whose color creates a perfect contrast with the yellow of gold; to complete the whole, the golden decorations resulting from the engraving of the enamels, which bring out the underlying gold.
