Antique 18K white gold ring with diamonds (center approx.0.30ct), 40s

This antique ring dates back to the 40s, and is mainly characterized by its oval shape.
At the center of the ring we find a brilliant cut diamond of approx.0.30ct, held by not too high and wavy prongs, and which create a decorative outline, thus elegantly filling the space between the diamond and the outer outline.
The latter, made with this oval setting, is entirely covered with huit-huit cut diamonds, for a total of 20 diamonds.
The back of the frame is embellished with openwork, which create a refined and also visible edge once the ring is worn.
The entire frame and stem are made of 18K white gold.
